City International School Pimpri, situated in the developing industrial suburb of Pune, is the first biggest CBSE affiliated school in PCMC area. The school was established on 17th September 2004 by Late Mr. Nandan Dixit, a doctor by profession but an academician by heart. It was the dream of Shri Nandan Dixit Sir to establish an Indian School following CBSE Curriculum with an International perspective. The seeds of quality education which he had sown has now grown into a tree nurturing and sheltering thousands young minds

School founded with a student strength of 405 from Nursery to Std. 5, has grown into an institution with a strength of 1427 from Nursery to Std. X in present.

Knowledge is power and wisdom is the power to use the knowledge, these put together develops personality. A child will become an engineer, a sports person, an artist, a photographer or journalist based on the parents and teachers grooming them..

Galvanising the success of total 14 Batches of students in their Std 10 Board examinations, the school takes pride in announcing that the young Alumni of the school have scaled great heights in their chosen filed and have brought laurels to the school. Alumni of the school are still are emotionally connected to their alma mater and frequently visit the school to relive their golden days spent here as well as approach the teachers for guidance and to regain confidence. Reverence for the teachers and the trust reposed on itself is a proof for the strong value system on which the school is built.

The School has been trying to broaden its horizon by taking part in various events of National and International significance like performing in the Opening Ceremony of Common Wealth Youth Games, winning laurels at CBSE National Level sports competitions and CNBC Financial Quest etc.

School has been conducting competitive examinations like Science Maths, Cyber Olympiads, Homi Bhaba Balvaignanic Spardha with an aim to promote scientific attitude and temperament among the students. Students of our school have also been successfully appearing for the art examinations i.e. Elementary and Intermediate Art examinations conducted by The Maharashtra State Government.

In an effort towards inculcating the values Social responsibility and environmental awareness school has been engaging the students in initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Save Girl Child Campaign, No Tobacco Campaign, Save Water Save Earth Campaign, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Mission etc. Students of the school have been expressing their views and sharing their knowledge about these significant issues through various creative mediums like Street Plays, Rallies and Posters etc. These experiences have made the students more sensitive and responsible towards the social and environmental issues faced by the mankind and capable of taking confident decisions.
